Whatever powers are out there, thank you for seeing fit to protect me from the cabbie who wasn't paying attention, ran a red light, and nearly T-Boned me this morning. Thank you for snapping him back to attention with a split-second to go, because I didn't have the time to swerve, or brake, or otherwise save myself. Thank you for ensuring there was no passenger in my car, and thank you for ensuring there was no one in the lanes to my right or stopped at the red light, as he would have plowed into them first.

Thank you for allowing me to go home to Mr. Homeowner and Pup tonight. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.
