I just did up our master TO DO list, everything that still has to be done for the wedding. It's 6 pages long. In big writing, double spaced and single sided, but still. 6 pages. Wow.
Luckily, my mom is coming down next week to visit and help out, so I think we'll be able to get a bunch of stuff done. My ultimate goal is to have EVERYTHING for the wedding done by August 1 (except my nails, and the actual set up of the venue, of course), so that I can maybe NOT be a giant stressball for the last few days before I'm married.
Also, watching a sleeping puppy stretch is *maybe* the cutest thing ever in the world. Puppies...they look so innocent when they're sleeping, who knew that they're furry little bundles of trouble when they're awake?
Okay, back to my to do list.

Getting Closer!
I had my first dress fitting today!!! There wasn't that much to be done this time- the hem has to be let out, so the bustle can't go in yet, and we had to take in the bodice a bit....but only on one side (we couldn't figure out if it was the dress that was lopsided, or my ribcage!). And, oddly enough, there was another bride there for her second fitting...wearing one of my "Top Three" dresses, the one that was my mom's favorite. It most definitely looked better on her than it did on me! But it was just another one of those "Oh my goodness, this is actually HAPPENING!" moments!

5 Brief Things...
1) I am the worst blogger ever, I swear. And, I'm a blogging hypocrite- it bothers me SO MUCH when I find a blog that I love, and read all the time, and then the author just stops posting. It's like they're leaving me hanging, and I take it very seriously, for some reason. I console myself with two thoughts- first, that nobody reads the blog except for maybe Anne and Mr. Homeowner (Hi!!), and they get to either experience all this stuff live or hear about it pretty soon afterwards, so I don't think I'm disappointing anyone in this regard. And, secondly, I just keep telling myself that I will get better.
2) Yesterday was my 5 year (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Anniversary with Mr. Homeowner. He remembered, and made appropriately romantic plans (with gifts!). I was totally clueless until I opened the card. Yes, I got me a good one!
3) The wedding is in one month and 7 days. I am so VERY VERY VERY excited to be MRS. Homeowner (see #2 above if you need a reason why, not that you should!), but I do have bouts of mild panic that I'm not getting stuff done fast enough. I will make a to-do list, that always makes it seem more manageable.
4) The dinner Mr. Homeowner and I had last night was one of the best meals I think I've ever had. We did a chef's tasting menu, and it was fantastic!
5) I promise I will be back with a recap of everything that has happened that I haven't blogged about:
-Pup's spay
-Mr. Homeowner's parents' birthday party (we catered, my soon to be sister-in-law hosted)
-We got new furniture!
-We finally finished our basement reno!
-Wedding planning galore- the venues, the invites, the favors, my Do-It-Yourself projects
-Pup graduating from her Training Class (there will probably be TWO of these posts, since she's about to finish another training class!)
Okay, I think that's it. I will be back, I promise!
