The last of the Christmas decorations officially made it into the basement today. It only took me, you know, the better part of a month. Whatever. No biggie.
I also tackled the dishes and started making a master list of everything that needs to be cleaned or purged or organized for the house to be officially DONE. Unfortunatley, I also checked the bank account and discovered that we are completely lacking the funds with which to purchase the materials I need to complete the house, so we'll see how much progress I can make on that front. I do have a hard deadline of March 1, because we need to gather our statements and slips and receipts to file our taxes...but before they can be GATHERED, they need to be FOUND.
It will be interesting, to say the least.
